Vivo Music Studio was set up originally in New Zealand by professional Mezzo Soprano Kamilla Dunstan in 2006. The studio provides a fun and laid back learning environment that prides itself with strong focuses on both technical aspects and on student's individual needs.

Kamilla our Principal has performed principal roles at the Royal Opera House, Glyndebourne and English National Opera and sung at concert venues such as The Royal Albert Hall, Wigmore Hall and the Birmingham Symphony Hall. Kamilla has also featured on Radio 3 and Classic FM.

All lessons are 1:1 and face-to-face at the Studio or available Online . The Studio is currently offering lessons in Singing, Saxophone, Violin and Piano. The Studio will be expanding and welcoming more Instrumental Teachers in due course.

Students have been offered places and gone onto train at leading performing arts schools such as the Royal College of Music (London), The Royal Northern College of Music (Manchester), Urdang (London), Performers College (Essex), Body Works (Cambridge) and LIPA (Liverpool).​​​

Students have also been successful after auditioning and gaining places on the prestigious Glyndebourne Academy and The Opera North Youth Company.

Vivo Music Studio's teachers have trained at some of the UK's leading Conservatoire's such as Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Royal College of Music, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, the Leeds Conservatoire and York University.​

Our other teachers also perform across the UK and internationally as professional soloists in both Opera and Oratorio, engagements include Sounds Like This Festival, performed roles for both Earth Odssey Opera and operas by Alastair White and are current members of professional chamber choirs such as Borealis, Luminatus and the Sheffield Cathedral.

All teachers are Enhanced DBS Checked and Members of Musician's Union or Independent Society of Musicians.
